Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP skills and the ability to assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries on night or day shifts.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns,

• Clinical responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, C-section circulator duties, IV placement, blood draws, and newborn stabilization,

•

Schedule:

3x12-hour shifts, available on either day shift (7:00-19:00) or night shift (19:00-7:00),

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification required,

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required,

• Proficiency in vaginal exams, IV insertion, and blood draws,

• Ability to recognize and respond to complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy,

• Prior L&D experience required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating in C-section deliveries, and supporting newborn stabilization post-delivery,

• Must be able to identify and manage obstetric complications including postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy,

• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,

• All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission,
