Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts

• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 22-bed intensive care unit

• Float within hospital when needed

• Weekend coverage required

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Must have minimum 2 years of nursing experience

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Cerner charting system experience preferred

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Valid PA license or compact license required at time of submission

• Must have certifications in hand at time of submission

• Skills include cardiovascular intensive care, medical intensive care, surgical intensive care, post cardiac surgery care, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, IV medication administration, wound care, and emergency procedures

• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
