Electrician – Greensburg, IN (On-site)
Benefits:

Pay Range: $40.00 /hr.
- $42.00 /hr.
As the Electrician, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. You’ll support the Facility Maintenance Team in the preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of plant systems for the client.
Qualifications- Successfully completed Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical school and achieved Journeyman status.
- 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 7 years related experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Trained on NFPA 70E, Aerial Lift / Boom lift Certified.
- Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC / BMS controls.
- Ability to read complex wiring diagrams, identify electrical components, and extensive knowledge in troubleshooting control circuits.
- Must be well versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers and amp-probes.
- Read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment. Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses.
- Dismantle malfunctioning systems and tests components.
- Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and position sensing devices.
- Plan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipment.
