Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
Overview
Shape Metal. Build Quality. Grow Your Craft. Step into a production floor where your hands-on skill makes a measurable difference. As our Precision Machining Technician, you’ll start each shift preparing press and lathe equipment so every run meets spec—from first piece to final pallet.
A day in the lifeYou review the work order, ready the machines—cleaning, calibrating, and dialing in settings so the first production cycle starts smooth. You load raw material into semi-automated equipment, monitor speeds and feeds, and make adjustments on the fly. Periodically, you test machine performance and confirm output meets standards. When something isn’t right, you troubleshoot, correct the issue, and document what you did.
Throughout the shift, you inspect parts using precision measuring tools, flag defects, and record both accepted and rejected units. Before you clock out, you wrap with accurate activity and production logs so the next team can hit the ground running.
