Exceptional Rehab at Morning Breeze is HIRING!

We are now hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Must be a licensed PTA in the state of IN.

Previous long-term care experience and experience with behavioral health settings are preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides therapy and performs selected physical therapy interventions under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring quality service and outcomes.
  • Gathers data related to interventions and makes modifications to progress residents safely and effectively, adhering to precautions and contraindications.
  • Maintains proper documentation, including resident records, billing, and labor entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicates effectively with the supervising PT, interdisciplinary team, residents, and families regarding treatment plans and discharge planning.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities and survey readiness.
  • Maintains current skills through continuing education and stays informed on Medicare policies, regulations, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Ensures a clean, safe, and professional environment, adhering to dress code and maintaining regular attendance.
  • Participates in census building, marketing activities, and clinical program development.
  • Performs responsibilities in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and facility philosophy.
  • Education and/or

    Experience:

    Graduate of an approved physical therapy assistant program. Prior long-term care and EMR experience are strongly preferred.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license as per position requirements. Licensed in the state of practice.
