Process Development Engineer — Manufacturing Operations

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes that hit organizational goals for output, quality, and cost.
• Gather production data; use standard scientific and statistical tools to analyze, document, and diagram the process.
• Identify constraints and bottlenecks; implement corrective actions to eliminate them.
• Recommend equipment changes, work‑method updates, and process adjustments to boost efficiency and resource utilization (labor, energy, and materials).
• Provide guidance to junior engineers as a trusted knowledge resource.
• Support process work for new or higher‑complexity products.

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience as a manufacturing process engineer in a production or plant environment.

• Powdered metal experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing.

• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CAD applications.
• Project management savvy with the ability to prioritize and lead teams.
• Sound judgment and decisive action.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Knowledge of machining, geometric dimensioning/tolerancing, and strength of materials.
