Van Driver

Providing employees transportation to and from work you are playing a critical role in enabling people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve greater independence, personal and professional development, and gainful employment.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for ensuring employees' safe arrival to work and home
• Responsible for timely arrival and departure

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.

Required

Skills And Abilities

• Valid NC Driver License
• Able to accommodate door to door pickup for IOB employees
• Must have a pristine driving record
• Ability to follow all state and federal transportation laws
• Able to work transportation times 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Education and Experience

• 10 plus years driving experience

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, assist employees, drive, step in and out of van
