Cabling Technician - Structured Cabling

Responsibilities- Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
- Install and terminate fiber optic cable (if experienced)
- Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers
- Punch down voice and data jacks
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, ladder rack, and pathway systems
- Install and support MDF/IDF buildouts
- Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
- Experience pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cable
- Basic understanding of testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and follow project drawings
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with fiber optic installation and termination
- Experience in healthcare, data center, or commercial environments
- BICSI certification a plus
- OSHA or lift certifications
- Experience installing conduit or cable tray systems
