Compensationand Benefits
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $45,017.00 – $63,379.00
Full Salary Range: $45,017.00 – $86,195.00 Annually

The Hiring salary range and Full Salary range can vary depending on the job grade level of the position, experience, and ASE certifications.

Work Schedule- Second Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
- Second Shift, Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am
- Second Shift, Tuesday-Friday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am
- Annual $1,000 tool allowance to support your work.

As an Equipment Diesel Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and perform minor and major repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Follow strict safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work in varying conditions, including dust, grease, noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather
.
- Four years of journey‑level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair.
- Current possession of or ability to obtain within six months:
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- Air Conditioning Recovery Certification
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including walking, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own tools.

This job is Non‑Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED or equivalency of 1 Year Heavy / Medium Duty and Equipment Experience or Heavy Truck / Diesel Technology
- OR
- 4+ years of documented Journey Level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair/maintenance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement (OR the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date)
- Emission/Safety Inspection License and/or Air Conditioning Recovery Certification (OR the ability to obtain within 6 months from hire date)
- Associate Degree or higher in Automotive Systems Technology, Heavy Equipment & Transport Technology or related field
- 5 years of experience in medium and heavy truck maintenance
- Certified NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- ASE Air Conditioning Recovery Certification on Medium / Heavy Truck Series
- Series. NC Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- Emission/Safety Inspection License and/or Air Conditioning Recovery Certification
