Key Responsibilities- Perform fusion splicing of single fiber and ribbon fiber optic cables.
- Read and interpret OTDR test results and operate fiber optic certifiers with accuracy.
- Prep and splice cassettes and ribbon cable per project specifications.
- Conduct fiber terminations, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed, accurate project documentation and labeling.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety standards and best practices.
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites, maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines and exceed quality expectations.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Commercial Fiber Optic Technician.
- Proficient in fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and certification processes.
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clean background check required to obtain NC Alarm Registration.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
- BICSI and/or Corning Certifications are a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.

Monday to Friday - Weekend or overtime work may be required based on project timelines.
- Based in Greensboro, NC
- Projects may require regional travel throughout the Southeast U.S. Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided for travel.
