** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare facility's operations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client site requirements.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information as needed.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.

+ Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing directions and responding to requests for assistance in a courteous manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
