Armed Security Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned Security Officers to include post duties, weekly schedules, time off requests,
  • Supervise the site operations under the guidance and support of the site manager.
  • Maintain a HALIP strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.
  • Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
  • Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.
  • Ensures site safety programs and policies are adhered to properly.
  • Display the highest levels of customer service and communication skills to all stakeholders.
  • Reports directly to Site Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
• • Must have an active NC PPSB Armed Security License
  • MUST possess either a 9mm or 40cal semi-automatic firearm, 3 magazines,  at least a level 2 retention holster.
  • MUST be able to score 80% or higher on the NC PPSB armed guard qualification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Must be able to read and personajeunderstand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• The Site Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• The Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between the Account Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and corrective discipline.
