Our client in the manufacturing automation industry is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to add to their rapidly growing team in Winston-Salem, NC. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for creating and developing new business opportunities through significant outside sales engagement and relationship-building efforts. Our client is looking for a high-energy, motivated individual willing to learn the necessary depth of knowledge of their cutting-edge automation software.
An ideal candidate will have at least three years of industrial sales experience with a longer, consultative sales approach tailored to clients’ pain points. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and manage your own territory with complete autonomy to control and own your success.
• Maintain and expand a large, existing B2B client base
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads
• Contact a specific target of prospective leads
• Run sales campaigns in Salesforce
• Schedule discovery meetings with prospective and current clients
• Upsell to current customers
• Cold call relevant industry contacts to generate new business
• Attend client meetings to determine technical and business requirements
• Work with Product Management to provide customer feedback
• 3+ years of industrial sales experience required
• Consultative or relationship-based sales experience [not transactional] required
• CRM software experience required
• Prospecting experience with a hunter mentality required
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% locally within the Winston-Salem area
