Position: AUTOMATION SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the company’s automation sales goals through professional sales techniques and excellent customer service, aiming to meet sales growth targets.
  • Maximize automation sales potential within the assigned territory using competitive sales strategies and knowledge of AFP products and services.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing accounts, expanding the customer base and increasing sales volume consistently.
  • Identify and pursue new clients through methods such as leads, networking, and cold calling, ensuring prompt follow-up on leads.
  • Communicate with customers and prospects to understand their product or service needs.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies.
  • Create tailored proposals to meet specific customer requirements efficiently.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives, AFP sales, and technical teams to resolve customer applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Preferred Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of electrical automation products, including PLCs, industrial networks, motor controls, and control panels.
    • Experience with electric motion control components such as actuators, motors, and drives.
    • Understanding of industrial safety products and their applications.
    • Strong mathematical skills.
    • Diplomacy and negotiation skills.
    • Valid driver's license meeting insurance requirements.
    The Ideal Candidate May Have
    • Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields;
      Bachelor's preferred.
    • Prior electrical automation sales experience is a plus.
