This position is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while providing legendary customer service.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Support selling initiatives by thanking customers, engaging with them and their pets, advising on products or services, and making their experience memorable.
• Perform duties such as operating cash registers, merchandise recovery, participating in freight and merchandising processes, assembling merchandise, janitorial duties, executing price changes, assisting with loading purchases, and caring for live animals.
• Complete all related documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• No experience required; retail and pet knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Pet and live animal knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

• Indoor and outdoor work on hard surfaces, with adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is required.

• Non-sedentary role requiring movement throughout the store and outdoor areas.
• Ability to lift or reach merchandise overhead and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Constant standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and climbing.
• Operate store equipment and complete documentation accurately.
