Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$13.50 to $17.00 per hour

We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.65 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. Associates will work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage with commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.) per law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Ability to assist customers on exterior areas when needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
