Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in supervising store operations, recruiting, managing, training, and driving sales. They help create a positive shopping environment, develop team talent, oversee daily operations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and retaining top talent.
- Maintain a positive work environment and high store morale.
- Coach and train sales associates.
- Support hiring processes and performance management.
- Oversee daily store operations and merchandise flow.
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Lead initiatives to meet sales and operational goals.
- Create a great in-store customer experience and handle customer complaints.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant retail experience.
- Proficiency with technology (iPad, registers).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Physical ability to meet job requirements.
Skills & Attributes
- Previous retail and sales management experience preferred.
- Ability to drive sales results.
- Strong communication skills.
