Retail Sales Associate - 2674 at First Cash

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates. The successful applicant earns hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Commission plan details provided during interview.

• Greet and interact with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, answer inquiries, and resolve problems.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers; contribute to a positive team environment.
• Complete required training and participate in store operations as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified where applicable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; strong desire to serve customers and work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math; cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays; multi-location availability.
• Computer literacy; ability to operate POS systems.
