About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated, results‑driven Sales Associate for our retail store, passionate about classic American sportswear and capable of achieving goals while upholding the company’s ideals and standards. As a brand ambassador, the Sales Associate will take care of clients, sell, and create a unique shopping experience.
Essential Functions- Serve as the Brand Ambassador, embracing the company culture to build strong client relationships.
- Provide exemplary client service to create a customer‑centric, friendly retail environment.
- Drive sales by demonstrating extensive product knowledge and making appropriate suggestions.
- Use clienteling tools and outreach techniques to inform customers of upcoming events and new products.
- Support the store manager with daily operations and maintain areas of responsibility.
- Create and maintain a culture of kindness focused on clients and team.
- Maintain knowledge of current merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
- Use selling techniques to achieve sales objectives and close a sale.
- Understand sales plans, key metrics, and how they contribute to overall store success.
- Participate in store events and trunk shows, building a local and loyal retailer reputation.
- Use the POS system to collect accurate information and provide exemplary customer service.
- Plan and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring customer is the top priority.
- Assist with merchandising the sales floor and replenishment, adhering to visual standards.
- Address customer questions, inquiries, and concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, peers, and other store teams.
- Share best practices and ideas with peers across all markets.
- Execute direction from Retail Operations and Corporate Office.
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor, stock room, and common areas.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and professionalism standards.
- Assist with opening, closing, and key holder duties when management is absent.
- Lead by example, maintaining the highest level of integrity at all times.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record achieving sales goals and accountability for results.
- Positive, self‑motivated, and customer‑centric.
- Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and professionalism.
- High energy and results‑driven.
- Adaptable to change with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Capable of multitasking while keeping the customer the top priority.
- Available for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable standing for long periods; able to lift up to 30 pounds.
