Job Overview

Part‑time Merchandiser for Dietz & Watson.

Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, paid weekly via Direct Deposit.

Description: Assist with sales and create brand awareness. The role involves operating deli cases, forwarding products, creating marketing displays, and demonstrating dishes.

• Set up deli cases and rotate deli product
• Assemble necessary equipment for case settings
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS)
• Attract customers to deli by demoing product
• Create new recipes and/or sandwiches for demoing purposes
• Complete reports, including store surveys
• Make regular store visits
• Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers and employees
• Create and market Dietz & Watson party trays and sandwiches
• Communicate important information to the Account Manager (e.g., grand openings, store closings)
• Ensure full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform special projects outside of assigned territory

• Flexibility to travel/commute within 20 miles of hire location
• Proficient in reading and writing English
• Computer skills:
  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
• Ability to make independent decisions regularly
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Government‑issued Real  passport for travel

• Standing, bending, twisting
• Lift up to 20 lb. frequently and up to 50 lb. occasionally
• Push/pull carts up to 100 lb. occasionally
• Walking and reaching
• Use both hands and arms

• Room temperature while in stores
• Occasional exposure to refrigerated cooler areas
