Overview
Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking a Lab Technician to join our team in Greensboro, NC. As a Lab Technician, you'll perform biological and chemical analyses, support formulation development, and contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Location:
Greensboro, NC - Work week & Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am
- Compensation: $25.00 / hour + $1.50 / hour shift differential for overnight shift
- Complete all steps of routine analysis including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and data analysis
- Conduct product performance testing
- Approve, hold, and/or reject products based on laboratory analysis versus specifications
- Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements, following GMP guidelines for data reporting, and preparation of validation protocols, raw data generation, and final reports
- Conduct reexamination of borderline results, research technical literature, and communicate opportunities for process improvements
- Multi-task between multiple projects to ensure the various completion deadlines are met
- Complete experiments and project work as assigned
- Provide analytical and technical support for quality related product investigations
- Complete data reviews for out-of-specification test results
- Optimize and recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or relevant science discipline

- Strong scientific and lab analysis skills
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: $25.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
