DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
- Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform patient triage and rapid assessment of critical conditions.
- Initiate and maintain IV therapy and phlebotomy.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations.
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as required.
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety protocols.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Active RN License (State or Compact)
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NIHSS – NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Clinical Skills Required - Triage and emergency patient assessment
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Phlebotomy
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
