Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position specializing in inpatient renal care, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and general Med/Surg patients,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5,

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,

• Every 3rd weekend rotation required,

• Holiday coverage required as needed,

• Floating to other units may be required,

• Epic EMR experience is required,

Job Requirements

• Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Telemetry experience required,

• Epic EMR proficiency required,

• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility,

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate,

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
