This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Requires working every other weekend (6 weekends in total) and holidays as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, particularly in cardiac surgery and complex medical conditions.

• Manage critically ill patients post cardiac surgery and other complex medical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and management of multi-system organ failure preferred.
• License in hand required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
