Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company in Greensboro.

Contract opportunity for 6-8 months

$30/hr

This role is responsible for promoting a safe workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain safety records and documentation
• Facilitate safety meetings and trainings
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with management and employees to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with workers' comp claims and return-to-work programs

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety regulations
• Excellent communication, training, and problem-solving skills
• Certification in safety (OSHA 30, CSP, or similar) preferred
• Ability to analyze data and create safety improvement plans
