Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

This position requires an associate degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent, along with at least five years of industrial maintenance experience.

Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred didates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance and are subject to a U.S. Government security investigation. U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay Rate: From $30.49 to $37.70, depending on education and experience.

Self-directed technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment/systems, including computers, PLCs, electronics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpret complex manufacturer’s documents such as electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance and verifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities accurately.
• Manage maintenance materials, supplies, and tools.
• Support other technician areas and production as needed.

Job Entry Requirements:

• Associate degree in relevant field.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Passage of Instrument Technician and Maintenance Electrician tests.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Effective communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment for electro-optical-mechanical products.
• Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, ear plugs.
• Potential exposure to hazardous materials and electrical hazards (up to 15 KV).
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 pounds, standing, bending, climbing, etc.
• Overtime may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MS Office and CMMS software.
