Summary
Summary: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift and taking receiving product from the dock area and stocking it in the appropriate location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Move levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Conduct pre-trip inspection and notify appropriate personnel of malfunctions.
- Perform additional job functions as requested by supervisor or manager.
- Cross training required for pallet jack functions.
- Reference RFS computer and/or appropriate computer printout to stock pallets.
- Follow company's attendance policies and procedures.
- Follow company's safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language AbilityAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to other employees of the organization.
Math AbilityAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Warehouse Management System (Triceps), VLM Time System, Forklift RF unit, Triceps scan station.
Certificates and LicensesMust be able to pass Forklift Certification Test and operate forklift.
