Overview
Pay: $26–$28/hour + $2.50 shift differential (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
- $1,000 after first week
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to support equipment reliability and plant operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for hands-on maintenance professionals with strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and components
- Diagnose system malfunctions using testing equipment and hand tools
- Fabricate mechanical parts using steel, stainless steel, and other metals
- Support installation and alignment of machinery and equipment
- Maintain equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Utilize shop tools safely, including welding and cutting equipment
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong knowledge of welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work at heights, lift 20–50 lbs, and perform physical job duties
- Basic computer skills and ability to document work
- Conversational English proficiency
- Welding certification (preferred, not required — assistance may be available)
- Experience with VFDs, laser alignment, and vibration monitoring
- Maintenance-related certifications (Lockout/Tagout, HVAC, etc.)
- Forklift or lift equipment experience
