About the opportunity?
2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic - training on 1st shift for 2-3 months then transition to 2nd shift team.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems across the facility, including but not limited to:
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Replace electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices
- Rewire motors and replace motor bearings
- Troubleshoot and replace faulty electronic components
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and prints
- Perform basic wiring and PLC troubleshooting
- Test malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve issues
- Lead by example in following and enforcing all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulation
- Actively promote a culture of safety and ensure all maintenance activities are performed with safety as the top priority
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance
- Support plant operations during off-hours as needed
