Maintenance Mechanic

Perform minor and major repairs to all production and facility-related equipment, including machinery, motors, pneumatic controls, conveyors, and production machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow safety regulations and use safety equipment as required.
• Understand ISO 9001 requirements and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair machine, facility, and process problems.
• Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance duties.
• Assist in maintaining inventory control of parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to improve troubleshooting skills.
• Keep work area organized and clean, following 5S principles.
• Cross-train in other positions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Preferably two-year technical training, Associate’s degree, military training, and five years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, and interpret technical instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
• Work environment may include exposure to moving parts, chemicals, and noise.

Work Schedule: Usually eight hours per day, five days a week, with possible overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Equipment Used:

• Electrical test equipment, meters, scopes, and shop tools.
• Responsibility for personal tools and tools from the maintenance room.
