Join to apply for the Maintenance Mechanic role at Woodbridge.
Perform minor and major repairs to all production and facility-related equipment, including machinery, motors, pneumatic controls, conveyors, and production machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow safety regulations and use safety equipment as required.
- Understand ISO 9001 requirements and follow work instructions and procedures.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair machine, facility, and process problems.
- Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance duties.
- Assist in maintaining inventory control of parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to improve troubleshooting skills.
- Keep work area organized and clean, following 5S principles.
- Cross-train in other positions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Preferably two-year technical training, Associate’s degree, military training, and five years of experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Ability to define problems, analyze data, and interpret technical instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
- Work environment may include exposure to moving parts, chemicals, and noise.
Work Schedule: Usually eight hours per day, five days a week, with possible overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Equipment Used:
- Electrical test equipment, meters, scopes, and shop tools.
- Responsibility for personal tools and tools from the maintenance room.
