ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Effectively manage the generation of revenue through sales and marketing efforts.
- Develop, lead and execute the strategy related to the Truist Leadership Institutes sales and marketing programs, including web presence, traditional and social media tactics, and direct sales and drip campaigns.
- Lead a team of sales professionals in implementing sales and marketing strategies, providing frequent coaching, direction and oversight, and manage hiring, training and performance monitoring.
- Determine measurable outcomes of sales and marketing efforts, develop and maintain an effective sales management process, and create sales plans for the team, tracking progress toward goals.
- Personally manage high profile, high impact prospects and clients.
- Work with the Truist Enterprise Marketing, Sales and Experience department and/or third parties to support the implementation of the Leadership Institutes marketing strategy, developing and managing sales and marketing budgets and assigned resources to maximize ROI.
- Make regular joint business development calls with the Business Advisors and conduct regular progress meetings highlighting sales activities and results relative to goals.
- Work closely with peers to ensure alignment with Truist Leadership Institute strategic direction.
- Bachelor’s degree focused on Sales, Marketing or Human Resources, or equivalent education and related training.
- Fifteen years of experience selling products and services to executive level (c‑suite) prospects.
- Fifteen years of successful sales management experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Strong organizational skills, sales skills and a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Ability to travel, frequently overnight.
- Master’s degree preferred.
