Job Overview
Our client near the Greensboro airport is seeking an Accounting leader for their team. This position requires full in-office work and offers full-time employment.
The Controller oversees all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. They play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Key Responsibilities Review and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads.Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide financial guidance to support strategic decision-making, investment opportunities, and capital allocation.Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment portfolios to optimize liquidity and maximize returns.Management Duties
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to the estimation team to foster a high-performance culture.Implement performance management systems and processes to set expectations, monitor performance, and provide feedback.Oversee training and development to enhance team capabilities, skills, and competencies.Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop future leaders within the department and organization.Strategize and implement improvement initiatives for the Finance department.Analyze past projects to improve estimation accuracy regarding hours and material usage.Conduct market research and explore innovative methodologies and sources for continuous improvement.Additional Details
