Estimated Hiring Salary $42,233.00 Full Salary Range
: $42,233.00 – $59,734.00. Annually

Work Schedule:Monday – Thursday 6:15 am – 4:45 pm
THIS POSITION WILL BE REQUIRED TO SERVE ON AN ON‑CALL ROTATION AND WORK IN INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS.

- Assist with operation of a sewer cleaning truck performing preventative and emergency maintenance.
- Assume the operator role when the operator is absent.
- Perform heavy physical labor
, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and stooping. - Work in inclement weather and challenging field conditions.
- Serve on an on‑call rotation for emergency response.
- Assist with completing daily work logs, sanitary sewer overflow reports, and required documentation
. - Follow established safety procedures, operational standards, and City policies.
- The job is NON‑EXEMPT under FLSA.
This position requires reliability, physical endurance, attention to detail, and a strong respect for safety and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED
- OR an equivalency of 3 years of education and 3 years of directly related experience in a construction environment.
- Valid Class B Driver’s License w/ tanker endorsement.
- Directly related commercial truck experience preferably in sewer cleaning, preventative and emergency maintenance.
- Experience with heavy lifting in an outdoor construction and maintenance environment.
- NC AWWA Grade 1 or Higher Collections Certification
- Experience Operating a Sewer Combo Cleaning Truck
