The Role at a Glance

In this position you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to ensure facility and equipment reliability. This role requires adherence to safety standards and trade practices while supporting departmental initiatives and responding to emergencies during on‑call rotations.

What you'll be doing
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance and repair activity.
  • Applying core knowledge obtained for the role to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Participating in on‑call rotation to respond to facilities related emergencies, equipment failures, and weather conditions during non‑routine business hours.
  • Performing tasks in accordance with national and local codes and standard trade practices.
  • Promptly notifying management of safety issues or concerns.
  • Recognizing general issues/concerns, explaining effect, and suggesting process improvements.
  • Supporting and promoting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Meeting or exceeding departmental quality and service standards.
  • Working overtime as needed.
  • Delivering routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meeting deadlines appropriately.
  • Making routine & non‑routine decisions under close supervision, applying limited discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures/guidelines.
  • Performing tasks by applying core knowledge obtained from the role and acquiring increasingly more knowledge to apply in the role.
What we’re looking for
  • High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. (Minimum Required)
  • 0 – 1+ Years of general maintenance experience. (Required)
