We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance to support, maintain, and enhance complex IT infrastructure within a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions in mission‑critical, classified environments, including familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and system scalability. This role involves system installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Linux‑based servers, as well as implementing cybersecurity best practices in accordance with DoD and IC standards.

Our SME level team members design and modernize systems using automation, containerization, and cloud services to provide SRE, AI/ML, Full Stack Development, and Data Engineering. Security Clearance: TS/SCI required (Must be active in DISS)

• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) or equivalent.
• Experience applying STIGs, security patches, and compliance controls.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, NFS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Working knowledge of virtualization and storage management.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or equivalent).

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and related systems.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across multiple environments.
• Apply and maintain STIG compliance, patching, and security configurations in accordance with DoD standards.
• Automate deployments, configurations, and system tasks using Ansible, Chef, or similar tools.
• Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application hosting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, development, and network teams to ensure secure and efficient operations.
• Document system changes, configurations, and operational procedures.
