Job Description:

• Lead team of developers for creating solution using Opcenter FN / DS modules

• Configuring & Developing software to fix errors, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.

• Directing system testing and validation procedures.

• Directing software programming and documentation development.

• Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.

• Working with customers or departments on technical issues including system design and maintenance.

• Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems.

• Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces.

• Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.

• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.

Qualifications:

• Design, Configurations & Development using Opcenter EX FN / EX DS, Siemens Digital Logistics and Opcenter Intraplant Logistics

• Hands on experience of Opcenter EX FN / EX DS 3.3 onwards

• Must be knowledgeable in both front end and back-end development and understand concepts of software engineering in the Opcenter Modules.

• Must have solid skills in Visual Studio, MVC paradigm, , Rest API, OData protocols and C++/C# programming.

• Must have knowledge of the various OOTB Apps and their usage.

• Experience using Mendix for UI

• Good understanding of shop floor systems integration

• Domain knowledge in manufacturing and/or supply chain.

• In depth product knowledge of Siemens Opcenter Foundation and Opcenter Execution Discrete

• Experience Leading 1-3 Siemens Opcenter MES implementations

• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide solution using OOTB product features to minimize customization.

• Ability to convince customer for alternate approach if proposed approach leads to heavy custom solution.

• Expertise in writing SQL stored procedures

• Unit testing, Functional testing, Integration testing

• Deployment and UAT & Go-Live Support

• Application Maintenance, Support and Enhancements

• Technical Documentation

• Test Case Documentation

• Opcenter & SAP ECC integration knowledge or years of experience.
