Imaging Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Service Engineer I to join our Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) team at a leading hospital in Greensboro, NC. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of diagnostic imaging equipment while delivering exceptional customer service in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair CT, C-arm, portable X-ray, and ultrasound equipment
• Troubleshoot imaging system failures to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve equipment and workflow issues
• Document service activities and maintain accurate compliance records
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and hospital compliance standards

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of healthcare equipment maintenance experience OR 1+ year of diagnostic imaging repair experience
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing imaging systems
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and service software
• Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment

Preferred Experience:

• OEM, military, or formal imaging equipment training
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills
