Private equity–backed organization supporting multiple operating companies across skilled trades and industrial services, including commercial construction, manufacturing environments, and project-based professional roles.

Approximately 290 employees across the platform, including corporate office staff, plant employees, and field or service teams operating across multiple job sites.

Actively growing platform that continues to add operating companies, requiring HR to support evolving talent needs across multiple business units with distinct operating cultures.

Leadership team is focused on building scalable people processes and a durable HR foundation to support long-term growth across the platform.

Head of HR is intentionally developing team members into strategic partners and future HR leaders, reflecting a strong emphasis on professional development and succession planning.

On-site 5 days a week in Greensboro.

• Lead full‑cycle recruiting for primarily frontline and skilled trades roles (e.g., electricians, pipe fitters, sheet metal, steel plant positions), as well as select professional roles such as project managers.
• Manage job postings through ADP and associated job boards (e.g., Indeed, Zip Recruiter), ensuring accurate, compelling role descriptions.
• Coordinate and execute candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes to fill approximately 15 concurrent openings across multiple portfolio companies.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding activities for employees based in the Greensboro office and associated operations.
• Serve as backup for payroll processing, learning and supporting existing payroll workflows as needed.
• Assist with annual benefits enrollment, including employee communications and administrative support for healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement programs.

• 3–5+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record supporting industrial, skilled trades, or blue‑collar roles (e.g., electricians, pipe fitters, plumbing, sheet metal, steel/plant positions).
• Experience managing end-to-end recruiting for a broad mix of roles, including frontline field positions and office-based roles such as project managers.
• Demonstrated stability and progression in prior roles, with consistent tenure rather than frequent job changes.
• Background working in or recruiting for industrial, construction, or similar environments where field/service and plant work forces are common.
• Willingness and ability to work fully on-site, supporting a Greensboro-based operation and engaging directly with hiring managers and employees.
• Openness to learning and taking on broader HR responsibilities beyond recruiting, including onboarding, payroll backup, and benefits/annual enrollment support.
