Caregiver Paralyzed Man

Overview

PCA/Caregiver position in Greensboro for a paralyzed male client (quad), 46 years old. The client lives in his own house and requires 24/7 care. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), showering, dressing, and mobility with a slide board and lifts. A driver’s license is needed to take him to appointments. The client has two dogs (pit bulls, described as sweet) and smoking is allowed for this caregiver.

First shift availability is requested. The caregiver should be willing to learn to change an ostomy bag. The client has a supra-pubic catheter.

• Provide caring and dependable companionship
• Assist with light housekeeping
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Assist with personal hygiene (e.g., bathing and toileting)
