. This is a full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm) with rotating on‑call holidays.
Responsible for providing a comprehensive assessment of the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of hospice patients and their support systems. Provides advanced spiritual counseling to address patient/family issues of grief, loss, spiritual concerns, religious needs, and end‑of‑life planning. Coordinates or officiates spiritual/religious rituals as requested. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team and is considered the lead expert in spiritual care matters.

Requirements- Master's Degree (M.Div.) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Educational and clinical experience in the area of death and dying.
- At least two years of spiritual care experience.
- Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
- Ecclesiastical endorsement and/or leadership standing within one’s religious/spiritual tradition.
- Board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or Neshama:
Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) within two years of hire. - Valid state‑issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency and have own transportation.
