WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Oversee preparation and posting of journal entries and support month-end and period-end close processes.
  • Manage financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Lead and supervise a small accounting team, providing guidance and oversight on daily activities.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including documentation and auditor requests.
  • Analyze financial results and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making initiatives.
  • Use advanced Microsoft tools and ERP or financial systems to streamline workflows and reporting.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Active CPA required.
  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries, close processes, and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools and experience with ERP or financial systems.
  • Proven background in audits, financial reporting, budgeting, and GAAP compliance.
  • Experience in a highly technical or regulated industry is a plus.
