Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products in an inbound and outbound “call center” environment, within bank policies and procedures, while ensuring effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services, including qualifying packages and insurance products.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Execute effective mortgage sourcing plans and strategies through internal Truist referrals, inbound client inquiries, outbound mortgage phone sales, and other sales activities to meet or exceed personal mortgage production goals and preset minimum standards.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.
- Adhere to and fully comply with Truist policies and procedures related to internal and external rules and regulations, including State and Federal law.
- Provide mortgage clients with sound advice based on their needs and Truist Mortgage products and benefits.
- Consistently execute Truist's referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions for deepening client opportunities.
- Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined through quality control or post-closing review.

- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check
- Two years of experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types or completion of a sales-focused training program
- Basic understanding of residential mortgage types
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies or equivalent financial sales experience
- Completion of elective training curriculum in Mortgage Lending
- Prior mortgage sales contact center experience
- Proficiency in a second language
