Journeyman Systems Engineer

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking to identify a Systems Engineer - Journeyman to provide embedded Technical Subject Matter Expertise to JSOC J65 office in support of tactical communications for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Enterprise. Work location is Fort Bragg, NC

• Provide engineering analysis, requirements definition, solution engineering, integration, logistics planning, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) for SOF C5
  
  ISR systems
• Support the design or redesign of system architectures to integrate new and emerging technologies into SOF C5
  
  ISR systems
• Provide inputs to designs; modify technical reports, drawings, and material lists; and participate in meetings that require system design expertise such as technical reviews, functional and physical configuration audits, and conferences/presentations
• Develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), developmental testing support, and material research and tracking for critical hardware of SOF C5
  
  ISR systems that are in production, modernization, and modification phases
• Support the development of DoD and USSOCOM technical and programmatic documentation for SOF C5
  
  ISR systems

• Minimum of 10 years of recent and relevant experience within DoD organizations in Systems Engineering Support. Of the 10 or more years of experience required, at least eight of those years of experience must be with SOF C5
  
  ISR systems as a systems engineer.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field

The projected compensation range for this position is $111,000 to $144,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
