Entry Design Engineer Job Description

Support the engineering development of new products, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality outputs for customers. This role is hands‑on within the new product development lifecycle, guided by experienced engineers, and focused on technical skill-building and professional development. Responsibilities include assisting with product design and supporting technical ownership tasks aligned with corporate deliverables.

• Assist in the design and development of new products.
• Support technical ownership tasks to meet corporate deliverables.
• Engage in hands‑on learning with engineers.
• Contribute to the full product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance product quality.

• Experience in design, Solid Works, and mechanical design.
• Entry‑level to early career experience in product development, manufacturing, or related engineering fields.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in solid modeling using 3D CAD.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00/yr.
