Responsibilities
- Design and analyze modular buildings, ensuring they meet all required building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Utilize STAAD and other structural analysis software to perform complex calculations and simulations.
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction is carried out according to the design.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, familiar with building permitting, and building codes.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
