Our client—a nationally recognized, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering firm—is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer Project Manager to join their dynamic MEPFP team in North Carolina
. This role can sit remotely in North Carolina with regular travel to the Greensboro, NC headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Manage multiple projects through all phases—from concept to construction—with a focus on quality, budget, and timelines.
  • Design Excellence: Review and contribute to construction documents, drawings, and proposals to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Field Coordination: Conduct site inspections and data collection to support design integrity and project success.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships through design meetings, collaboration, and peer reviews.
  • Financial Oversight: Track milestones, prepare projections, and support billing processes.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and foster team development.
  • Business Development: Partner with marketing teams on RFQs, interviews, and presentations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering
  • PE license (or eligibility) in NC, SC, and VA
  • Expertise in power, lighting, data, security, and fire alarm systems
  • Experience with building or industrial/manufacturing facilities
  • Proficiency in design software (Visual, SKM) and construction documentation tools
