- Perform field inspections, design calculations, verify accuracy of dimensions and project data, and examine workmanship for conformity to standards.
- Work under the supervision of a field engineer, project manager, or senior‑level team member.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive lines of communication between technicians, engineers, contractors, and the public.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required, to any assigned project within the State of NC.
- Apply safety philosophy and program to all operations.
- Work safely in an outside environment exposed to hazards on construction sites, including heights, highway traffic, and rough terrain.
- Work productively in a team environment and independently.
- Perform moderate physical activity including walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and standing.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Close visual acuity to review and interpret plan details.
- Survey and inspect construction sites in rough terrain and variable temperatures.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- High School diploma.
- Flexible—can adapt to shifting priorities.
- Can take direction from others and provide guidance to others.
- Valid NC Driver’s License required.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $80,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
