Mining / Civil Site Design Project Manager role at Kleinfelder

This is a hybrid office role with locations in Charlotte, NC;
Raleigh, NC; or Greensboro, NC. The project work is multi-disciplinary with emphasis on mine planning, resource management, reclamation, and stormwater management.

• Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality
• Overseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges
• Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value
• Nurturing and growing client relationships
• Supporting the achievement of professional staff’s career goals

• Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
• Preferred:
  Professional Engineer (PE)

• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction
• Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships
• Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts
• Understanding of financial management concepts
• 6+ years of related experience in mining or industrial projects, including 2+ years of project management experience
• Consulting experience is preferred
