Hourly pay range $40.75 - 44.75

• This position is with the Asset Design Team. This team is responsible for the design work for major grid improvements and major customer work.
• This position will be required to meet with customers to determine scope of work for a project.
• This position works with Engineering Firms and Contractor Managers to provide a design that meets Duke Energy standards that is safe, reliable, and is constructable by the line crews.
• This position will require field visits and walkthroughs.
• This position utilizes Maximo and BOUD for design work.
• The position will also support storm work as needed throughout the system.

• HS Diploma / GED required - Associate or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Engineering Support Experience 2+ years
