Job Responsibilities- Conduct detailed packaging studies and propose design solutions.
- Support cross-functional packaging meetings and geometric analyses efficiently.
- Verify media routing, propose routing paths, and clipping solutions.
- Analyze and suggest common solutions to minimize part numbers and maximize part sharing across brands.
- Perform pre-study packaging analyses, present results, and recommend next steps.
- Contribute to improving packaging verification processes, methods, and tools.
- Participate in geometry verification plans (virtual and physical builds, DMU structure) to enhance CAD quality and maturity.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of product development experience, preferably in class 8 heavy-duty truck development.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles and applications.
- Complete vehicle and/or chassis knowledge is preferred.
- Extensive experience with PTC Creo Parametric & Creo View.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
- Product Data Management experience; experience with Volvo PDM system KOLA is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
